Stephanie Florian’s journey began in California, where she studied professional dance and performing arts while spending weekends immersed in live music, especially the Grateful Dead. Music became her therapy, inspiration, and the soundtrack through life’s highs and lows. With a career spanning radio, television, and film, Steph developed her voice both in front of the camera and behind the mic. As co-host of Not Fade Away, she brings lifelong love of music, storytelling, and human connection — celebrating the power, community, and healing spirit of live music.

Gord Kushner

Gord Kushner

Host

Gord Kushner is a songwriter, guitarist, and frontman known for catchy, uplifting songwriting and a deep connection to live music culture. A founding member of Buddy and the Scarecrow and a performer with GDBC (a Grateful Dead tribute), he brings years of stage experience and genuine passion for the live music community. As co-host alongside Stephanie Florian, he offers an insider’s perspective on the artists, venues, promoters, and personalities who create the magic behind live music.
